Artist Project Los Angeles: Venice

While shooting for my own personal project this month “The American Dream” I can up with this piece.
I call it “The Push” It represents the ability to keep yourself intact and balanced, no matter what challenge life sends to your doorstep. To me it is the photographic representation of what meditation is for me.
I admit it has little to do with the “American Dream” I was shooting for. But its all about the process (and I got several others that fit the American dream bill. I just liked this one the best)
I’m having it printed 24×20 on Metallic paper and looking forward to having it in my home. Although, it will be featured at an art show this weekend representing the “Unknown Venice”

Vegas Weekend

Hi All. Just got back from Vegas. I was helping a friend who hires me on occasion to shoot with him: Joe Buissink. (If you shoot weddings, you know him. He is a legend and usually the headlining speaker at WPPI) It is such an honor to work with him. Most photographer pay to work with him. It gives me a great snob appeal in the wedding photography geek circles.
I’m awesome.
The wedding was beautiful. It was located at Green Valley Ranch in Vegas. But the actually ceremony was at the owner of E-bay’s Mansion… WOW! The guest house was nicer than the most mansions I’ve seen ANYWHERE and H-u-g-e!
The bride got a little sick and had to take it easy. Weddings can be stressful and run down the immune system. so, take your vitamins and get lots of sleep before the day.
