Getting Work Now Casting - One of the best online self submition and resource center. Great for theatrical casting. LA Casting - Casting for most commercials. Your agent uses it, but you can too. Breakdown Service: Actor's Access - Great for the less proactive actor, they e-mail you audition notices. Backstage.com - A good place to start. Lots of student film auditions. Academy Players Directory - It's another industry standard. Better responces for more advanced actors The Gig Directory - A great place for all sort of services and industry jobs. Recommended Industry Trade Papers (know your industry) Daily Variety - @ $24 per month for a daily paper on everything in the industry. Where to get sides Show Fax- A very easy to use site to purchase your sides if your agent didn't get them for you. Now Casting - They have sides... they are good. CastNet -If your in SAG and you register, the sides are free. Registering takes a week or so, so don't wait. LA Casting - A personal favorite, Free Sides, Free mailing labels, easy to navigate.
