Today we went to Riley Farm for some engagement photos at an apple orchard. It was a bit of a drive, but totally worth it. Scott grew up going to this farm and had fond memories of picking strawberries and other fruits here. Of course after he met Candice, they both started going together so, we planned for the engagement photos here.
Candice and Scott had great use of props for this. They chose well, fitting their outfits to the location nicely. Of course we did some more formal pictures as well to make sure to cover all the bases too.
We lucked out by finding a sign directing people toward another wedding happing later that day at the orchard and used it for the photos as well.
Scott went to LMU and I learned a lot about the school during the engagement session as well. Like the “still undefeated” mention was actually kind of a joke since they don’t have a team any more. As a photographer, I get to learn so much more about the world than I would otherwise.
One last note… at the end of the session, Scott bought me a pie to take home. They swore it was to die for… They were right… There is nothing better than fresh good pie. Thanks guys!!!
