We photographed this wedding at the Four Seasons Biltmore in Santa Barbara. First of all, I love Santa Barbara. Anytime I have a chance to get up there for photography or otherwise, I jump at the chance.
The Four Seasons is a fantastic venue. The little bungalows where Brides and grooms get ready offer plenty of natural light and with the venue being so close to the beach, we can get both shots of greenery as well as beach photos. It’s actually hard to find greenery and trees so close to the beach which is one of the many reasons I love shooting there. Another reason is that all the staff and coordinator’s I’ve had the chance to work with at this venue have always been exceptional.
The Four Seasons also has great fog that can roll in occasionally (as you can see form the ceremony shots) Fog is a personal favorite thing to incorporate in any shots. Its a total bonus and adds a dreamy quality to the images.
This venue also has several different reception rooms so it can accommodate weddings of small size as well as larger ones.
